Pastor Laura Saunders
I am so glad you’ve connected with us. Whether you are searching for a new church home or just beginning to explore your faith, my prayer is that you feel the genuine warmth of this faith family and the presence of God in every interaction with us.
Franklin has been home to my husband, Lee, and me since 2017. While we are originally from northwest Ohio, we have fallen in love with this community. When we aren’t spoiling our grandchildren and great-grandchildren or spending time with our dogs, we are usually looking for new ways to get involved locally. Having served churches in Wauseon and Milford, I find a special joy in leading Franklin First because, while we are a modest-sized church, we have a mighty heart for our Franklin neighbors.
Life can be a whirlwind of hustle and bustle. To us, church is a place to find Godly balance and be reminded that we serve a very big God. When we turn to Him for strength, we find a peace that passes all understanding and a community that ensures we never have to walk the journey alone.
