At Franklin First United Methodist Church, we believe that faith is a verb. Our outreach ministries are the heartbeat of our "practical divinity," allowing us to step outside our doors to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus in Franklin and beyond.
Our Local Impact
Gerke Elementary Partnership: We are deeply committed to our local students. During the school year, we provide Weekend Snack Packs for over 200 first graders to ensure no child faces weekend food insecurity.
We also provide weekly literacy tutoring to help young students grow in confidence and skill.
Community Dinners: In partnership with our sister churches, we help host free weekly meals. Whether it's the Coffee Collab on the fourth Tuesday or our partnership with St. Mary's on Thursdays, these dinners provide both nourishment and a place for neighbors to find fellowship.The Angel Shop: We believe every student should feel confident during major milestones.
Our Angel Shop provides free formal wear for local students during the Homecoming and Prom seasons.
Essential Collections: Throughout the year, we collect personal care items, baby needs, and school supplies for Franklin Area Community Services and our local schools to support families in need.

The Grace of God: We believe in a God who is actively seeking a relationship with everyone. We emphasize "prevenient grace," which means God’s love is working in our lives even before we are aware of it.
