OUR MISSION
The Ordinances - (Matt.28:19-20; John 13; I Cor.11) - Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Eternal Life - (Matt.25:46; John 3:16) - And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal; For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
ABOUT CHURCH OF GOD OF CUMBERLAND VALLEY
At COGCV, our vision is one of unity and to bring our community to Christ. We, under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and empowerment of the Holy Spirit, live to Glorify God and share His truth in love. We honor Matthew 22:35-41 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. To summarize we Love Jesus and we Love Others.
