Meet The Pastor
Pastor John Cain
Brother John accepted the call to Cumberland Valley November, 2009. He and his wife, Nancy, moved from Maryland, where he served as pastor to churches in Marbury and Accokeek. Prior to the pastoral ministry, John and Nancy served as missionaries to the Lakota tribe on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in Wanblee, South Dakota.
Before entering the ministry John served as an 18D (Medical NCO) with the 20th Special Forces Group in the MDNG. He was employed as a Corporal in the Fairfax County Sheriff’s Department.
Nancy and John first met at a revival service in 1979, and they were married in 1982. They were blessed to raise four children, all of whom are serving the Lord and active in the ministry of their local churches.
