ABOUT FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD
First Assembly Of God is a Pentecostal church in Wilkes Barre Pennsylvania. This Assemblies of God church serves Luzerne County PA - Pastor Ron Swanson
We strive to be a vibrant, Spirit-led, multi-cultural church which seeks to Elevate the greater Wilkes Barre area with the Love of Jesus Christ.
What We Believe
- We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God.
- We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
- We believe that all have sinned and the only means of being saved from sin is through faith and repentance in Christ Jesus.
- We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of Speaking in Tongues, is available to all as a free gift from God.
- We believe that the Holy Spirit enables us to share, with power, the message of Jesus Christ to our world.
- We believe that spiritual and physical healing is God's desire for all mankind.
- We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is currently preparing a place for all believers in Heaven, and will someday return for all who are in Christ.
