About Philadelphia Southern Methodist Church
Philadelphia Southern Methodist is a country church. The elegant building was built in 1913 with other buildings added later. Our church is traditional with a normal service, excellent small choir, and good solid preaching. Southern Methodist is a small conservative denomination which left the more liberal Methodist church in 1940. Our church has a college and two fine camps, one near Orangeburg, SC and the other in the mountains. If you miss the small church atmosphere with traditional music and preaching then you need to visit our church !
