BELIEFS
We believe in one true and living God who eternally exists in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in glory and one in nature. We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, sinless in life, crucified as the substitutionary sacrifice for our sins, bodily raised from the dead, exalted at the Father’s right hand, and coming again personally, visibly, and premillennially. We believe the Holy Spirit is fully divine and works to convict, regenerate, indwell, guide, teach, sanctify, and empower believers. We believe the sixty-six books of the Bible are verbally inspired by God and are inerrant, infallible, authoritative, sufficient, and the final rule for faith and conduct.
We believe all people are created in God’s image but are separated from Him by sin and can be saved only through repentance and personal faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is by grace and includes regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification. We believe the church is the Body of Christ, composed of all true believers, and that the local church gathers for worship, biblical teaching, prayer, fellowship, evangelism, baptism, and the Lord’s Supper under the lordship of Christ and the leadership of biblically qualified elders. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous, eternal life for believers, eternal judgment for the unrepentant, marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, baptism by immersion for believers, and regular observance of Communion in remembrance of Christ.
