OUR MISSION

The mission of New Victory Temple (NVT), a chartered, 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt church united with the Christ Holy Sanctified Churches of America, Inc. established in 1910 is to be a refuge for needy persons in College Station/Bryan, and to be a teaching/training ministry reaching out to Texas A&M University and other college students, staff, and faculty.
ABOUT NEW VICTORY TEMPLE CHURCH
New Victory Temple Church is a Spirit-Filled church in College Station Texas. This Holiness church serves Brazos County TX and helps the needy, as well as reaches out to university and college students through two Aggie grads who are engineers. The senior pastor has served many different denominations and is growing this small congregation to become a trans-denominational church for all ethnic groups.

BELIEFS
ABOUT GOD
God (Yahweh and 30 other spiritual names) is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He exists eternally in three persons: the Father (aka Yahweh), the Son (Yeshua), and the Holy Spirit (our personal counselor). .
ABOUT JESUS CHRIST
Yeshua (aka Jesus the Christ, and Messiah) is the exclusive Son of God. He lived a sinless human life and died on the cross to pay for our sins brought into the world from the disobedience of Adam. He rose from the dead and ascended to heaven and will return again to earth.
ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ.
ABOUT THE BIBLE
The Bible is God’s word written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit to share the plan of God for humankind. The book we call The Holy Bible is the final authority for determining our Christian beliefs and how we are to live.
ABOUT HUMAN BEINGS
People are made in the spiritual image of God — we are rational and moral beings. We have free will and can choose to obey God’s Word (aka The Holy Bible), or not to obey God’s Word.
ABOUT BEING MADE RIGHT WITH GOD
Becoming right with God and having our relationship with God restored is what the Bible calls salvation. Salvation is God’s free gift to us. We can never earn it or achieve it by self-improvement or good works. We accept God’s gift of a new life when we turn from our self-ruled life and accept Jesus as our Savior. We then learn how to cooperate with other Christian groups, as well as with non-Christian groups.
ABOUT THE KIND OF LIFE WE ARE CALLED TO LIVE
Though we are not made right with God by our own goodness, “good works” are not optional for the Christian life.
ABOUT BAPTISM
Baptism is our initiation into what is known as the Christian church and our identification as children of God.
