Welcome to Empowering Word Christian Center! A R.E.A.L. place to worship. If you’re tired of “church as usual” and you’ve been searching for a true encounter with God and a relevant word for today’s living…we encourage you to join us on Sunday mornings at 10:00am. Come and be a part of accomplishing God’s vision of R.E.A.L. church. We are a R.E.A.L. place to worship. A group of believer’s that come together to worship God collectively and receive instruction for daily living in a contemporary casual atmosphere. The bible is our foundational reference for this instruction. We believe we are co-laborers to reach the lost and hurting people in our families, this community and the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We understand our need for each other. We are co-laborers. God has gifted every individual with his or her own unique gifts and talents to mature and develop for accomplishing His purpose for our lives and for the Kingdom. Every person is valuable to His vision. We believe we were created for worship and in every person’s need to express their creativity in worship. We are “progressive” with respect to the “old paths” that have inspired generations before us. We are one of the few churches in this area that endeavor to “bridge the gap” through current music styles while incorporating familiar hymns from yesterday. All too often we are hurried and do not have the opportunity to fellowship and create lasting friendships at church. Not anymore! The days of “rushing” in to church on Sunday morning at the last minute are over. The “Wake-Up Call” Café is available at 9:00am every Sunday morning with great coffee, breakfast snacks and juices for your enjoyment and convenience. This time of fellowship is critical and we encourage participation. Honestly, what more could you ask from a Sunday morning? Free coffee, breakfast and friends…get R.E.A.L.!!! We provide nursery and child care for our Sunday service. We are a friendly, non judgmental church. Feel free to come as you are. Dress is informal, jeans or suit, your choice.
