About Church Under the Bridge
In 1992, the homeless who lived under the Interstate 35 bridge in Waco invited the executive director of Mission Waco to lead a Bible study for them. It eventually grew into a church with its own leadership. The church has about 300 diverse folks who meet there every week, regardless of weather, to feed the hungry and worship. There are small groups throughout the week. The church supports mission work in Haiti, Mexico and India.
