Central Advent Christian Church, The Big Rock Church

Central Advent Christian Church, The Big Rock Church is an Evangelical church in Alleghany County, just off I-64 Exit 29 on Longdale Furnace Road.. When you visit, you can expect to be warmly welcomed. Free coffee and snacks are available in our Sunshine Corner and can be taken with you to Sunday School or a place to sit and peruse a current magazine or book until Morning Worship begins. The services are traditional and modern. We have a lot of young families with children. During morning worship, Pastor Gene does a Children's Sermon before Toddler -Elementary age youth go to Kidz Klub for the remainder of our morning worship service of they choose to.The Big Rock Youth Fellowship encompasses both our younger children through 18 years. Pastor Gene and parent volunteers take the youth on outings. During morning worship, we have a Meet and Greet time to fellowship with each other and greet guests. Our church has a special program called Senior Servants for our elderly members and attendees. They go on outings via our church bus throughout the year. Our Sunday evening service offers opportunities for attendees to sing, give a testimony if they desire, followed by a sermon from Pastor Gene. The Ida Morgan Women's Circle is comprised of all ages and meet regularly to work on projects. Come visit! We would love to have you!
