Our Mission
The First Love Alive Victory Army Church (FLAVA) is dedicated to reconciling man to God through spiritual teaching and physical action, 2 Corinthians 5:18-21. Our cause is to work and teach with Godly wisdom to help uplift the spiritual, mental, and physical capabilities of individuals, families, and communities to aid in improving life on earth for all mankind, and lead to shared immortality with God in the hereafter. We are committed to visiting those who are sick, in prison, feeding those who are hungry, and clothing those who are in need. We promise to listen to the voice of the people to better understand what their needs are, and will strive to fulfill them to the best of our ability, with God. We offer an organized church family operating in agape love, teaching biblical and general education versatile for all age levels, regardless of culture, ethnicity, or nationality, under the direction of God by His Holy Spirit through His Son Jesus Christ. FLAVA is the name. First off, can’t take a church seriously when named in ebonics. Secondly, this church resides in a regular old house in a regular old neighborhood. This is clearly just someone trying to get out of paying property tax.
About FLAVA Church
FLAVA is a non-denominational church. There is no dress code, feel free to come as you are! We have a family friendly environment and the pastor, Bishop Z, earned his master degree at the Virginia Union University School of Theology. We have a 501(c)3 non-profit status from the United States Government and we believe in teaching the word of God so that every age can understand it and grow spiritually! We believe in operating with the gifts of the Holy Spirit however, we believe that everything is to be done in decency and in order. We believe that clergy should be qualified in an anointing, a calling by God, and an education which we offer through our church.
