Meet The Pastor
Pastor Timothy McKenzie
Pastor Tim McKenzie accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior in the year of 1982. Shortly after, he began ministering in local outreaches in Staunton, Virginia. Tim came to realize that the Lord was calling him to further his education and in 2003, he graduated from Life East, a Four Square Bible College, where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Pentecostal theology and a minor in pastoral care. In 2008, Tim continued to further his study of the Word of God with an education at Liberty University graduating with a Masters in Pastoral Counseling in May of 2011. Tim has served in the ministry as an assistant pastor with local Roanoke churches and for the past 8 years with New Life Christian Ministries in Roanoke, VA. Tim is an ordained minister with the International Pentecostal Holiness Church, in which he humbly serves as lead pastor at New Life of Rocky Mount, Virginia. Pastor Tim married the love of his life, Teresa, they have one daughter, Amanda who attends Roanoke Valley Christian School. Teresa is an asset to the ministry at the church in Rocky Mount, where she oversees the ministry to the children. She also works full-time as a nurse for Carilion in the Roanoke area.
