OUR MISSION
Renewed by God for the renewal of our neighborhoods
The Renew dream is for people in North Lynnwood and beyond to experience the grace and mercy of God and to be transformed as images of God. We believe we are given to in order to give away, and so we will endeavor to love and serve our neighbors in tangible ways.
ABOUT RENEW CHURCH
Renew is a multethnic church in North Lynnwood. We are laid-back, community-oriented, and relationally-driven. We are excited about living authentic lives that embody love, mercy, and hope in ways that are meaningful to our neighbors. We are a community that values diversity; we desire to be multi-ethnic, inter-generational and we encourage the diversity of backgrounds within our leadership.

BELIEFS
We believe in the centrality of the word of God
We believe there is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe Jesus Christ is God’s eternal Son.
We believe the Holy Spirit works both within individuals and among them.
We believe “If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come” (2 Corinthians 5:17). New birth in Christ means committing ourselves in our brokenness, repenting of our sins, and receiving forgiveness, acceptance, and eternal life. It means being alive in Christ, and this life has the qualities of love and righteousness, joy and peace. New birth is only the beginning. Growing in maturity in Christ is a lifelong process of discipleship for both individuals and communities of believers. God forms and transforms us – and it is through people transformed by Christ that God transforms the world.
We believe the Church is the living Body of Christ on earth, with Christ as its head and source of life.
We believe that because God gifts us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives us this security.
