About West Valley Community Church
West Valley is a church committed to knowing Jesus and having that knowledge influence and inform the way we live. We highly value community where we can be open, honest, and caring in our interactions with each other. Everyone is welcome here, whatever your story, your questions, doubts or struggles. We don’t pretend to have all the answers, but we believe in a God who does.
West Valley is a church that is all about Jesus, because we have seen and experience the life He gives. Therefore we know that church is not about a building, or a bunch of rituals, but is about people striving to encounter God and making His love and hope part of their daily lives.
We believe the Church is at its best when it serves, sacrifices, and loves, simply caring about the things God cares about. That is why you will discover that we’re out in our local community caring and investing in the lives of those who live near us. We are about people because God is about people and Jesus brings the two together.

As a Church we are committed to following Jesus and living our lives as an expression of our obsession with Him. Our obsession leads to action as we live to be Jesus to others. Our obsession and actions are based on the knowledge that Jesus was God, the very truth of God and therefore the only way to know God. We grow in our relationship with Jesus through His truth expressed in the Bible and know it to be the only true word of God. We affirm the value of each follower of Jesus by encouraging and supporting their walk with God and the service for which God has created them. We believe that the community of believers known as the church, is the place of God’s design where we become more like Jesus, to serve like Jesus, in preparation for His return.
At West Valley our vision is to encounter people where they are that they might come to know the love of Jesus. We believe that as a person encounters Jesus as seen in the authentic lives of His followers, they will be changed through a relationship with Him. The change brought about through personal surrender of their lives to Jesus will lead them to be engaged with other followers in pursuit of Jesus, and this in turn will impact their community. As a result, God’s presence will be known in this community, city, and world.
