BELIEFS
Foundational Principles
- Unity in essential beliefs, diversity in non-essential matters, and love in all things
Scripture and God
- The Bible is divinely inspired and without error
- God exists as Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit)
Jesus Christ:
- Eternal God who became human, lived sinlessly, died, was buried, and physically resurrected to save humanity
Holy Spirit:
- Active in salvation, baptizes believers into the universal church, indwells and seals Christians permanently
Salvation:
- All humans are sinful and need salvation
- Salvation is God's gift received through grace and faith in Jesus Christ alone
- True believers are eternally secure in their salvation
Humanity:
- All people are created in God's image as distinctly male and female
Church:
- Universal church consists of all believers throughout history
- Local churches are biblically mandated and autonomous
- Practice believer's baptism and communion as ordinances

- Jesus will return to judge all people and establish his eternal kingdom
