Our Mission

We are a family on mission becoming a church for the whole city and whole world for the glory of God!
Encounter God Everything we do starts with encountering God and being filled with his presence. In the Bible, when the Spirit of God touched ordinary people, they were filled with great power and were able to become all that God had intended for them to be. The same is still true for us today! If we are to be the church that God has called us to be, one that invites the whole world into his love and grace, it has to start with on thing: Encountering God! Experience Family We at Antioch believe that the way God does family is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. His family, His church is where people can be nurtured in their identity as children of God and supported in their calling. It’s the place where wounds are restored and where the hopeless find hope again. No matter what your family history has looked like, there is a place for you here to be a part of the greatest family on earth: the family of God! Equip for Purpose God has made you on purpose for purpose. At Antioch, we really do believe that no matter your age, gender, ethnicity, occupation or social status, you have a BIG part to play in God’s story! In the kingdom of heaven, no person is left out or sidelined. Because of that, it is our desire and joy to be a place where you discover your purpose in Christ and we want to come alongside you to call out the destiny that God has placed in you! Empower for Impact Impact happens when our willingness meets God’s empowering presence. In the Bible, Jesus told his disciples, “you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Jesus knew his followers were willing to make an impact, but they needed his power to actually see it happen. God’s presence still dwells in His people so that, through us, the whole world may know him!

About Antioch Community Church of Baton Rouge

At Antioch Baton Rouge, we are a family on mission becoming a church for the whole city and whole world for the glory of God. And we believe that starts with you! HOW LONG IS SERVICE AT ANTIOCH? In total, an Antioch Baton Rouge service is about 90 minutes in length. Services begin with the band leading the church in worship music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, one of our pastors will come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus. WHAT’S THE CULTURE LIKE AT ANTIOCH? Sunday's at Antioch Baton Rouge are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest. WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS? We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week - and at Antioch, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Antioch program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the Antioch KIDS experience. Kids ministry is offered for kids ages infant through fifth grade.
