About Redemption Community Church
Nobody wants to visit a church that feels impersonal and irrelevant - and spend their whole morning there. That’s why we provide a welcoming community, a fun and engaging experience for your kids, and hope-filled teaching that matters for your Monday through Friday - all in less than one hour each week.

BELIEFS
We hold to the beliefs outlined in the Athanasian Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Apostles Creed.
The Trinity -God is the only eternally-existing, holy, and sovereign being and God exists in three persons.
We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons, that these are equal in every divine perfection, and that they execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence and redemption. We hold to the Athanasian Creed, a creed used by believers to bring clarity to the Triune God since the 5th century.

The Father - The Father is the creator and sustainer of all things.
We believe in God, the Father, an infinite, personal spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of all people, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ - Jesus alone is our savior.
We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings. We believe in His death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, ongoing intercession for His people, and personal visible return to earth.
Jesus was sent by the Father to live on earth; he was fully God and fully human, yet had no sin. Jesus willingly laid down his life and, after three days, rose from the grave. In doing this, Jesus fulfilled the payment for the world’s debt of sin.

The Holy Spirit - The Holy Spirit lives in all believers to convict us and empower us.
We believe in the Holy Spirit who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ to live righteously and follow Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ, and that He is an abiding helper, teacher and guide.

The Bible - The Bible is the inspired word of God.
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and that it has authority in all matters of faith and conduct. We believe that the Bible has the final word on all areas of the Christian life. It dictates the way we love our neighbors, our conviction to share the story of Jesus with others, our daily financial decisions, the entertainment we take in etc. The Bible provides the reasoning behind all of our moral decisions and the blueprints for our way of life in the 21st century.

People - We are created in the image of God.
We are the created and not the creator. Therefore we must live as such in submission to the holy creator God. But that submission lends itself to a good and abundant life because we are created in the image of God and we are loved by that God. We are inherently good, and we believe this as God said so himself.
Sin - All people are sinners and need God’s forgiveness.
God is holy and perfect in every way. Sin is missing God’s perfect standard in the way we live our lives and this act of missing God’s perfection is actually an offense against God. All men and women are sinful and are born sinful because of our sin nature. This nature became our reality when Adam first sinned in the garden of Eden. Due to our sin and offense against God all men and women are destined to be separated from the holy and perfect God without the salvation that only comes through Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross.

Salvation - We are only saved through Jesus' perfect life, death, and resurrection.
We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sins. Therefore, salvation only occurs when a person places their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as the sufficient payment for his sin.
