First Baptist Church

Our Mission First Baptist Church has been caring and ministering to the people of Okmulgee and the surrounding area for over 100 years. FBC continues to grow in her ability to be relevant to the needs of people while maintaining a deep commitment to the authority of Scripture as our trustworthy and true guide in all things. It is the desire of FBC that each of it's members be a missionary of Jesus Christ to the world. We believe that God has sent us to the nations. Whether it is helping start a church in Chilapa, Mexico, building a ramp for a handicap person, prayer walking our streets, providing a food backpack for a child, ministering in Nicaragua, helping our neighbor or giving our money to help others go, we are a missional community striving to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
