About Restoration Church & Ministries

Welcome to Restoration Church & Ministries! We exist to reconcile people to a true and life changing relationship with God; to build strong families, and to achieve excellence in every area of our life, through the Word of God. We believe that strong families build strong churches and strong churches build strong communities. We are a family of believers that worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Spirit and in Truth. You are welcome to join us as we reach out to lost souls in every walk of life. RCM is a safe haven for those whose purpose is to dedicate themselves for the service and worship of the Lord Jesus Christ. All are welcome to join us as we strive for excellence and "press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 3:14) (KJV) "This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation...We speak for Christ when we plead, "Come back to God!" (2 Corinthians 5:17-20) (NLT) We are committed to ministering to the total needs of our members, community and society at large. Using biblical principles, we offer practical teachings for leading a Spirit filled life. We aspire to strengthen each person's confidence and joy in Jesus Christ; at every point in their life, and encourage personal and spiritual growth through worship, prayer, Bible study and active service in our church and community. "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33) (NIV) We invite you to become a member of our family; allowing God into your life through the power of the Holy Spirit!

BELIEFS

What We Believe - We believe in one God who created all things and is revealed in the persons of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (1 Timothy 3:16). We believe that God came to earth in the flesh to bring salvation to all men (Colossians 2:9), He was born of a virgin, lived as a man and walked on earth, healing all manner of sickness and disease, and is destroying the works of the devil. We believe that Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross, died for our sins, and was raised bodily on the third day as prophesied in the scriptures. We believe that He then ascended into heaven and now sits at the right hand of the Father (God) making intercession for the Saints and that He is the only Mediator between God and mankind. We believe that Jesus Christ will return to resurrect the dead in Christ and rapture those who are filled with His Holy Spirit to live with Him eternally. The Word of God is the Final Authority - We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God, and that all scripture (old and new testament) governs the lives of Christians. We believe that the Word of God is the final authority on all things (2 Timothy 2:15; 1Corinthians 13:7). Water Baptism - by immersion in water as instructed by our Lord Jesus Christ for the removal of our sins, and as a symbol of indentification with the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Water Baptism is "an outward sign of an inward change." Therefore one should be baptized only after one has repented of their sins. We baptize in the name of "The Lord Jesus Christ" (Matthew 28:19; Acts 8:36-38; Romans 6:3-4; Colossians 2;12, 3:17). Salvation - We believe that salvation comes only through the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the only begotten Son of God; concieved of the Holy Ghost, and born of the virgin Mary. Jeus was crucified and raised from the dead. (Matthew 1:21; Acts 4:12; Matthew 12;39-40, 20:17-19; John 3:16,14:6) Baptism in the Holy Spirit - is a promise from God which is necessary to become part of the Body of Christ, (Church)(Romans 8:9) and enter into God's Kingdom (John 3:5).The Holy Spirit gives us the power to obey God's Word and to live holy and righteously. (John 3:3-8;Acts 1:8,2:38-39;Romans 6:1-11;1 Corinthians 12:13; Colossians 2:10-14; Matthew 3:11; John 14:16-17, 10:44-47,19:1-7;1 Corinthians 2:1-16) Holiness - We believe that the children of God are required to live a holy and sanctified life, and obey the Word of God. (Romans 12:1-2; 2 Timothy 2:19; Ephesians 4:24-28; 1 Peter 3:8-18). Devine Healing and Miracles - We believe that God heals naturally and supernaturally. All knowledge comes from God, including that of the medical profession. They can do surgery and give medication, but it still takes the power of God to heal. We know that God still heals supernaturally also, through the power of prayer, faith and/or by the laying on of hands. Devine healing by God is provided by Jesus Christ through His redemptive work on Calvary (Mark 16:18; James 5:14-15). Giving - We believe that God supplies financial support to His Church though the giving of tithes and offerings, which is a form of worship. God also provides financial blessings to His children through their giving of tithes and offerings. (Proverbs 3:9; Malichi 3:8-10;Luke 6:38).
