Our Mission

To serve God's people in the church and our community and neighbors. To love and care for the Church and to love and care for our neighbors and community. We are dedicated to God's glory, building up God's people, finding the Lost and growing the Found, healing, restoring relationships between God's kids and the church where these have suffered, being led by the Spirit, governed by the Word, and focused by the Gospel. We have a special love for children and adults with disabilities and great support resources from our denomination in this area. We aim to be . . . "a church where people can become who they were designed by God to be, Where people live in connection with their hearts as well as their heads, Where people have room for others who move to different rhythms, For Christ’s sake and for the people He loves."

BELIEFS

Core Doctrines God is Sovereign, not man. Heaven, hell, sin, and salvation are real. Salvation is available only in the Savior, Jesus Christ. Apart from the Church, the believer will not grow well spiritually. The Bible is the Word of God, inspired, infallible, and the final authority for understanding truth, life, and God’s will. The Holy Spirit is active in our lives as we see He was active in the lives of people in the Bible. Christ Jesus died on the cross bearing our own sins in His body satisfying God’s justice and taking God’s wrath. The Father loves and values us with an infinite, undiminishing love so that He was willing to provide and suffer the pain of seeing His own Son suffer and die on the cross to save and regain us. Salvation is a gift from God; we can never achieve it nor earn it. There is nothing we can do to contribute to our salvation, it is God’s free gift to us. Anything we try to contribute only impurifies God’s free and beautiful gift of salvation. Salvation is complete forgiveness of sins and eternal life. There is only one God, who has revealed Himself in the Bible as Father/Son/Holy Spirit. Core Values The preeminent and final authority of the Word of God as delivered to us in the Canon of Scripture. The learning of the Creeds, Confessions, and Catechism as a means of understanding God’s Biblical instructions for living godly and faithful lives to our Lord’s honor and glory. Finding the Lost and growing the Found into mature and fruitful believers, who winsomely serve Christ in their homes, their schools, their work places, society in general, and in their church. Advancing a Reformed witness in the local church’s mission region and the Christian Community of that region. Holding to sound doctrine within a lively and contemporary faith. Improving our society by bearing the grace of God into our region through godly involvement in our neighborhoods, schools, government, and businesses. Promoting men and women in the service of Christ. Children as a real and present part of the Church, not just as the “future” of the Church. Humility among all members of the Church, for God gives grace to the humble, but resists the proud. Promoting and preserving the peace, purity, and unity of the Church
