About Beacon Baptist Church
Beacon Baptist Church is a growing church that was started in October of 2012. Pastor and Mrs. Terry Lawson and their four children moved to Gig Harbor from North Carolina for the sole purpose of starting an Independent Baptist Church here in Gig Harbor. When you visit Beacon Baptist Church you can expect to be encouraged not only by the congregational singing and special music but also by sound Biblical preaching. God-honoring, uplifting music is important to us, but does not over-shadow the preaching of the Word of God. The pastor, teachers, and guest preachers of Beacon Baptist Church only teach and/or preach from the King James Bible.
